Leadership is critical in the local church community at every
level. It is more about who you are rather than what you do. So, it isn't
primarily about running a home group, or managing an outreach team. It's
about having a vision, knowing authority, being in front, often taking risks
and sometimes being willing to admit failure. Growth can't happen without leadership, and it is God's purpose
that his people grow. Unfortunately, organisational
leadership doesn't automatically ensure spiritual leadership, which means
that you may have people in positions of leadership who aren't really leaders.
What do you do? How can leaders be identified and how can they
be equipped? Where does the concept of servanthood
come in? This programme will
enable you to identify and assess current leadership, then equip and empower
them for the kingdom.
